DAS Showroom becomes Exam Prep Centre

SKYed Eco Education, the official AIANY Center for Architecture LEED Exam Prep provider are hosting a prep course for LEED AP BD+C within the DAS USA showroom. 

Instruction is led by SKYed Principal Brian Wennersten LEED AP BD+C, O+M and the course is designed to take your green building design and construction career to the next level with LEED credentials.

Brian will give you the tools and information you need to successfully take and pass the LEED AP+ Building Design and Construction specialty exam. The LEED certification will give you the opportunity to demonstrate to employers, clients and peers your superior knowledge of Green Building Concepts and the LEED rating systems.

The course will run over two days; February 3^rd and 10^th from 10am til 5pm. The course will include:

* Guidance in navigating through the application/registration process

* Exam details, test-taking tips and resources

* A walk through relevant green building and LEED concepts

* Detailed overview of individual LEED prerequisite and credits

* Access to instructors after the class to answer questions

* 12 hours AIA CE, 5 hours LEED CMP: Live presentation

Sustainability Review

LEED Seminar - a great success...

DAS and SKYed made a great team at the LEED Seminar that took place in the New York showroom on December 1^st. Both companies are looking ahead on how they can help pave the road in their respective industries.  DAS has taken a big step in its NYC showroom to show the company’s commitment to the movement.  As for SKYed, the company ethos is to accelerate building related industries towards sustainability, and they are working on all fronts to help make that a reality in the DAS USA showroom. 

SKYed Principal Brian Wennersten LEED AP BD+C, O+M led this very engaging presentation that not only covered subjects such as LEED and Sustainability Management, but opened up the floor to other topics of discussion.  Cthree’s principal Andrew Ciarniello, who was one of the attendants, wrote “Thank you for the presentation...I enjoyed it and found it very informative.”  The positive feedback from all who attended made the evening a great success.

DAS and SKYed have a strong Corporate Social Responsibility policy and are looking forward to providing a number of events in the NYC market place.  Keep an eye out for them!
