In all areas of our business our written goal is to recycle or go green. DAS ensures the same from its suppliers and supports our customers' own environmental policies, ethics policies and corporate fiduciary responsibilities. We adhere to the highest corporate ethical standards in all the decisions we make and when interacting with stakeholders.

The o8 Desk system can easily be dismantled, and is 99% recyclable. The steel used in manufacture of the o8 Trading Desk frame components has 30% recycled content. This is the maximum for the quality of steel required.

All our manufacturing and logistics partners adhere to the principle set out in our published environmental details, and are constantly vetted to ensure the integrity of the supply chain.

Our production model dovetails with our supply chain to ensure environmental efficiencies by the following means:

DAS seeks to minimise the environmental effect of the operation of company vehicles and delivery operations and to this end designs products to meet customer needs whilst optimising the weight and packed volume of products for given performance requirements. The Company operates and maintains company vehicles with due regard to environmental issues as far as reasonably practical and encourages the use of alternative means of transport and car sharing by all staff.

The highly durable nature of DAS's furniture ensures that about 20% of desks are re-used, either by the original purchaser in a new location, sold to new users, or donated to charity.

DAS will guarantee that the works carried out, alongside the products supplied, will meet and exceed project specific environmental objectives.
